Looking for a property in coastal/central Languedoc in exchange for a stunning property in Dalmatia: What we are looking for: A mortgage-free townhouse or apartment in larger towns in Herault and the surrounding departments, located in the centre of town, with 2-3 bedrooms, easy street access. What we have: A (mortgage-free) stone house on top of a hill near Primosten, central Dalmatian coast, sitting on 3800m2 of agricultural land and surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, with panoramic views of the coast, the Adriatic and the islands. The property surface is 65m2 and is one level, with a possibility of building a high attic (min height 1.4m). The local utility started work on bringing the electricity connection (neighboring property has it already); there is a large underground concrete sewage tank and the water supply can come either from a new well, rainwater tank (to be built) or water trucks regularly bringing water to the area. The property is owned by our own Croatian-based company and we hold a license to conduct agricultural activities, necessary to apply for electricity. If somebody is interested in same-for-same swap, they can get the property and our company and thus not be subject to property sales tax of 5% of the sales transaction value. Sale of the property is also possible. The property is located 40 mins from the main Adriatic airport in Split and one hour away from the airport in Zadar. Both are served by regular and budget flights, also out of season. From Split, you can also get regular ferry services to Ancona, Croatian islands, and Greece.
