There is a large lake within a ten minute drive where you can practice a variety of water sports, or just enjoy a stroll and a picnic. If you like birdwatching, there is also a bird sanctuary and hide. Two superb golf courses half an hour’s drive away. Many local fetes and activities throughout the year. One of the largest weekly street markets in France in the medieval town of La Guerche (15 minutes drive) Within easy reach: Laval - famous for its river and Christmas lights.
