The town has its own Chateau with 105 acres of parkland and gardens. In this area we have hiking trials of 435 miles. Also situated here is a very popular race course. There is a large lake within a ten minute drive where you can practice a variety of water sports, or just enjoy a stroll and a picnic. If you like birdwatching, there is also a bird sanctuary and hide. Two superb 18-hole golf courses half an hour’s drive away. Many local fetes and activities throughout the year. One of the largest weekly street markets in France in the medieval town of La Guerche (15 minutes drive) Within easy reach: Laval - famous for its river and Christmas lights. The city of Rennes, capital of Britanny, with its mix of old and new, offers everything a city can offer, and then some. To the south, Angers is a tourist paradise with a thriving commercial side and beautiful chateau. We are within easy access to Nantes and Le Mans. (famous for the 24 hour race) One and a half hour drive west will take you to the Atlantic coast and the chic La Baule. Same travelling time north and you reach the ferry port and amazing walled city of glistening granite - St Malo. , a captivating and unique historic town with fantastic architecture.
